I got home yesterday from Todd and Wendy’s (Jon’s cousins). We had an awesome weekend – except dropping my parents off at the airport; but I will see them in a couple of weeks when I go home. There was a big family pre-Mother’s day gathering on Saturday. Jon’s cousins are an awesome family – here is a picture of all of them with Jon and I last weekend from graduation.

- frozen cherries

So yummy and it woke me up! I made this smoothie after I freaked out about not having any coffee. Since my family was here, we went through a lot of coffee since everyone drinks it. I totally forgot my dad told me I would need to get some more. And to think I went food shopping yesterday…
Coffee is one of those things I need in the morning. Although I usually do not photograph it with my breakfast, it’s chillin’ on the side.
I’m going to head to the gym – I’m so excited that I can get back into workout mode this week! Having my gradutiton/family/visitors/travel kind of makes me put working out and eating healthy on the back burner. But… I’m back and ready to attack .
Question: What do you need to have in the morning?
Tip: When making a smoothie with greens (especially is you don’t have a Vitamix, like me), first combine your greens and liquid and blend that first so the greens are blended smoothly with no big chunks.
