Good morning!
Long time no update over here.
Blogging has been sporadic for me since I’ve been home – I though it wouldn’t be but I don’t really have a schedule and I’ve constantly been doing random things.
I purchased a stability ball this weekend… finally. It’s been one of those things that are easily accessible but I’ve just never gotten around to it, you know?
I also got some new Under Armor running sneakers! So exciting!
Breakfast
A cold bowl of Puffins with banana slices.
After breakfast, Gunner and I headed out for a short 2 mile run. I wanted to break in my new kicks but not over-do it. When I came home I did some leg and abs work with the stability ball.
Gunner was nervous.
Flattering angle, I know.
This weather has been crazy – clouds one minute, sun the next, and rain the following minute. Samantha and I were debating for a while about going to the beach but we finally decided to go for it.
I packed my favorite salad as of lately:
Greens, TJ’s lentils, olives (I usually use kalamatas but we ran out), and feta. I top it with balsamic dressing. It’s really delish! I also threw some grapes and water into my mini cooler.
Question: Do you like the stability ball? What is your favorite thing to do with it?

I find the stability ball is too wide for my hips for leg lifts. I haven’t used it in a while, but I would say that using it in a plank is my favorite way. Have you ever tried the Peanut Butter Puffins? If so, how do they compare to the regular Puffins? I’ve only ever tried the PB ones
I have had the PB ones but to me, they kind of have that Captain Crunch mouthfeel so I like the original much better!
I’ll have to give them a try. Thanks!
I love doing squats against the wall with the stability ball. Really good if you have trouble keeping your weight back.
I do the same thing! I’ve had surgery on both of my knees so doing squats that way doesn’t put too much stress on them.
