Fashion Friday

Happy Friday!

Let’s get started on today’s Fashion Friday post. I want to warn you – I have winning pictures. Pictures that say, “ I look like a model I took these straight out of bed, while my coffee was brewing.” Just put it that way, mmmm k? Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

So today I wanted to focus on the sheer shirt/bandeau look. When this trend first came out, I was totally against it. “I can’t sort of expose my belly in public!” But, it’s grown on me. In pictures you can really see the see throughness (I just made that word) but in person it’s not bad. I would never do this look in midday or obviously to church (duh). But, I think they’re fun looks for going out at night.

I paired the first look with a thicker bandeau and Tory Burch flats.

(I need a tan)

I couldn’t find my booties I wanted to show you guys to match this outfit (the joys of moving home from college – stuff everywhere) but they’re black suede booties that are so lovely!

So there ya have it. If I want to wear these shirts in the day time, I will just wear a tank top underneath. I’m way too modest. Actually, these shirts are both new so I’ve never done the bandeau look outside of my house. Maybe I will chicken out, who knows.

Breakfast

I’ve been wanting to make Tina’s 2 ingredient pancake and today I tried it. It was so good topped with some nut butter, and so filling! It’s amazing how when you combine certain macronutrients, you get a great satiety factor.

Well, I’m off to the gym for a good Friday workout. Then I hope to take my computer and books and find somewhere quiet to get a lot of work done today.

Question: What are your thoughts on the sheer shirt/bandeau look? Love it or hate it?

Have a great Friday!
