Hey guys! Wednesday is here… halfway there!
Anyways…. my brother came over last night for his birthday dinner. His faïence couldn’t come because she had a late class to attend. I prepared dinner and cooked up a yummy feast of chicken Francese, whole wheat spaghetti with clam sauce (fresh), and fresh spinach. The show stopper was the pasta with clam sauce… holyyyy smokes it was yummy!

So good! I went back for a little more pasta and another piece of chicken.
My brother is a brownie lover so instead of making him a cake, I made a boxed brownie mix but added tons of chopped walnuts and a couple of handfuls of dark chocolate chips. Topped with some ice cream, this was decadence at its finest!
That shadow on my face is great, huh? Some how my mom never made it into a picture last night!
We’ve had some nasty rain here and it just stopped. I hope its done for the day because I skipped the gym this morning so I could go on an outdoor run with Jon and Gunner after I am done dog sitting for the day.

Not for birthdays but I’ve been declared the baklava maker at Christmas time! Literally pans and pans of baklava, my moms like “oh we need some for the neighbors, I’ll just sit here and eat what you’ve already made while you do that ok!” haha
