Greetings from Michigan!
My parents, grandmother, cousin Ryan and myself flew into Detriot on Wednesday night. I was greeted at my Aunt Maureen and Uncle Bob’s house with this sign:
What a wonderful welcome, right? My uncle got a hold of this after a local election haha.
Thanksgiving morning started with a short but pleasant run outside.
Then it was onto the good stuff!
My Aunt Maureen truly outdid herself. Everything was amazing and I left the table feeling like that turkey. Stuffed!
After a little relaxation, I dug into a slice of cheesecake with berries. Delish!
There’s nothing like holidays with little ones around. I was so happy I was able to fly to Michigan and see my cousin Jen’s two sons, Maxwell and Joseph.
Maxwell is on the left and my mom is holding Joseph on the right.
I stayed with my cousin Jen last night and we woke up ready for some TJ’s Pumpkin pancakes! Love them.
We’re going to head back over to my Aunt and Uncle’s shortly. I might get another run in here or there – not sure yet. No Black Friday shopping for me today. I just don’t have the strength for that, friends.
Questions: How was your Thanksgiving? Are you/did you go Black Friday Shopping? Any good deals?
