Second Day of Circuits and Something Special

Good morning! Doesn’t the day after Christmas stink? It makes me a little sad. Oh well!

So we’re moving right along to the Second Day of Circuits for our 12 Days of Circuits.

I completed this one this morning. My heart rate was up and my abs and arms were workin’!

Breakfast

1 egg, cheese and jam on an English muffin hit the spot today! Love that sweet and savory combination.

This past Sunday, I took out something very special to me in the kitchen and was ready to make Christmas cookies.

What is this? It’s my grandmother’s recipe box. My grandmother is now 97. She has been such a wonderful wife, mother to 9 children, grandmother, neighbor, and friend.

I just love her! I opened up her recipe box, took out our family cookie recipes and got to baking!

These are the cookies that are made in our family every. Single. Year. I cherish these recipes and the taste of the cookies. It’s so special and makes my holiday season complete!

Question: Do you have family recipes that you make often?
