Hey friends!
How was your weekend? I told you guys I had a wonderful Saturday but yesterday as the day went on, I was a sneezing machine with watering red eyes which looked like this:
Eeeek that’s a scary photo. Do you see how red my eye lids are? They’re better today but my head is not! So annoying. I feel like everyone I know is sick or knows someone who is sick. Dinner last night was worth sharing. I made spaghetti squash with homemade pesto and chicken. So delicious!
I went to bed after watching The Real Housewives of Atlanta (no shame) and The Biggest Loser. Ohhh… who is excited that the childhood obesity epidemic is being addressed this season? I am!!! I am very excited about that.
Moving on…
I tend to find meals/snacks that I really like and eat them regularly. I am definitely a creature of habit. My new thing is Oikos Toasted Coconut Vanilla Greek Yogurt. Obsessed. The coconut flavor is out of this world. I’ve been enjoying it plain, with added natural coconut and walnuts or with a crumbled Morning Glory Muffin.
Mmmm the above picture was what I ate before hitting the gym for some elliptical/strength training this morning.

Oatmeal bakes. I have made one a week for the last two weeks and they are great! They are the perfect breakfast for filling me up, being quick, and lasting the week or more. Hope you feel better soon!

I’ve been making date/fig bars and loving them! They are my favorite snack and because I make them at home, I can add in what I want!
That sounds amazing! Love dates and figs and you’re right, the add-ins are endless!
Hope your head feels better soon! That’s the worse because you can’t do much but lay around. I’m slowly starting to feel better only after resting all day yesterday and today. At least we are getting some good meals though.

Right now I’m addicted to vanilla greek yogurt with a scoop of pb stirred in. Can’t get enough of it!
I finally broke into the Cookie Butter jar I got at Trader Joes’ a while back, and I can’t stop! So good!
Haha your eyes made mine water! Ridiculous! Before omitting dairy from my diet I used to love plain greek yogurt with a muffin crumbled over the top. It’s one of the few foods I actually miss!
Yogurt and cheese are the two dairy items I would have a hard time giving up!
I I have been crazy addicted to cereal lately. Today I had a bowl with kashi, cheerios, blackberries, blueberries, greek yogurt and almond milk….drool can’t wait til tomorrow so I can recreate. I love spaghetti squash as well!

When I was home for the holidays, I snacked on so many pears with PB, but I have yet to have one since returning to NYC. Hope I remember to get pears when I go grocery shopping tomorrow!

I tend to get into a breakfast habit and stay there for a LLOOONNNGGG time, lol. Currently it’s a corn bagel with almond butter.

i nooo im trying to avoid everyone around here i feel most of LI got the flu right now lol and whattt i never heard of that flavor it looks sooo good ! im back on my banana pb kick, it never gets old ! and your spaghetti squash pic looks so nice everytime i make it its sooo unphotogenic its embarrassing to post lol
