Breakfast

Who doesn’t love pancakes mid-week? I sure do. I whipped up Tina’s OMG Pancakes and they were awesome topped with fake syrup because I’m out of pure maple!

So good and so filling!

After digesting breakfast I headed out for a run. I mentioned a few days ago about my knee pain  I had after a 5 mile run for half marathon training. Yeah, it’s still happening. And, I am really irritated. I completed 3.22 miles and things are still not okay over here. I may have to skip running tomorrow and just hope that things get better for a Saturday run!

Lunch

I headed to Panera to study for my AFAA certification. I am obsessed with Panera, I mean seriously. Their bread is the best, is it not? I die over the multigrain baguette. I order the U-pick 2: Thai chopped chicken salad and vegetable soup. Never fails me!

A few hours after I was home from Panera, I snacked on a Strawberry Banana Chobani.

Love that flavor!

Dinner

I forgot to take a picture of my dinner, guys. And I really should have because it was so good. We had Shepherd’s Pie and Caesar salad. I will show you a picture of cold leftovers so you get the gist though, okay? I know you won’t judge. ;)

It is much more appetizing when it is hot! Promise!

So there is my WIAW. I’m headed to the gym for a much needed strength straining session!

Question: What do you usually order when/if you go to Panera Bread?

Have a good one! <3

I LOVE Panera – I get that soup everytime, too!

  2. You made me want to go to Panera for lunch. I get the UPick2 country turkey sandwich and lately the veggie pesto soup thing. (cannot remember the name) It is delicious.

  3. Sorry ab your knee doesn’t it suck being injured? I love panera’s bread as well. My fiancé doesn’t understand why they give you a hunk of bread on the side. Ummm, because it’s delicious???? And I’m always a fan of pancakes !!!!

  4. I’ve had Tina’s OMG Pancakes on my “recipes to try” list for ages, I should really get around to making them, they look great! And I was having knee problems this week too after a run on Sunday…I made sure to stretch and take the next day off from running, and I ran just a couple miles yesterday and felt great. I think I’ll be ready to run farther tomorrow. Although I’m not training for a race right now, I definitely think you should take a day or two off (or shorten runs) for your knee to feel better. It really helps!

I love their chopped chicken salad with avocado! And I have really been wanting to make shepherds pie, thanks for the reminder!

  6. I get the thai chopped chicken salad too! I really like the tomato mozzarella panini to go with it. You should try it- it tastes like a pizza! Hope your knee gets better soon!

  7. Strawberry banana is one of my favorite flavors as well. I just tried the new banana flavor and it’s amazing!

  8. darn knee pain! Loving the shepherds pie, I need to try and make one

  9. Mmmm those pancakes look wonderful. Panera veggie soup with multigrain bread is my go-to lunch, probably at least twice a week :p

I love Panera! I usually get the you pick two with a bowl of soup and salad. I change up what soup and salads I get depending on what sounds good at the moment.

  11. I love Panera’s mutligrain bread too! I also like their broccoli cheese soup. Ugh now I’m craving it! :)

  12. Emily says:

I’m definitely a creature of habit when it comes to my Panera orders too, love their asian chicken salad! Also, shephards pie is such a comfort food for me, my mom made it a lot when we were little so now I make it when I’m feeling down or just want a little more warmth in my belly :)

  13. yum looks so good ! panera is the best !! if im really feeling it i get the bread bowl because its sooooooooo good. But I either get there black bean soup or vegetable and I love there Mediterranean sandwich!

  14. Carrie says:

Panera’s you-pick-two meal is the best! I always order the black bean soup if it’s offered and a salad–mmm!

  15. I don’t like near a Panera! Waah. I’ve had on-going knee issues with running and had ACL surgery in the past. I’ve found that for me it helps to warm up really well with walking 5 minutes, then I will run 2 miles or so, stop and do some serious stretches, especially IT stretches have been helpful for me. It’s frustrating to say the least, but it’s been about 4 months for me and I can now run 8 miles without any issues.

    • Kerry says:

Oh no! I’m sorry you don’t live near a Panera :( . Thanks for the advice. I tore my right ACL and had the surgery and I had minor surgery on my left knee. My left knee is the one that’s really bothering me. I am definitely going to take your advice!
